Packing tables, ERGO-Basic

What was required and what products were used? 
The Hägendorf Book Centre is the leading service provider for the book and specialist trade in Switzerland and supplies business customers with resale activities. The book centre offers the Swiss book trade a range of books, games, calendars, e-readers and more tailored to the market. The book centre opted for 22 fully equipped, ultra-modern ERGO Basic tables, including table scales and other superstructures that are specially tailored to the company's packaging requirements.

What areas of application was our product used for?
Our 22 packing tables are used at Buchzentrum in the packing process, including

• Sorting orders: Books and other items are collated at the tables for despatch.
• Packing books: Books are packed securely to prevent damage during transport.
• Labelling: Shipping labels and possibly price labels are applied at the packing tables.
• Quality check: Books are checked for defects before they are packed and dispatched.
• Processing returns: Returned books are checked, repacked and prepared for further sale.
